Research Applications

Clinical research is an important component of the Asthma Center program that allows it to offer the most up-to-date care available. patients will be given the option of participating in various clinical trials of investigational drugs, new devices for delivery of inhaled anti-asthma drugs, new approaches to the emergency room treatment of severe-acute asthma, studies of environmental impacts on asthma, and studies of changes in bronchial responsiveness following nasal allergen challenge.

During each patient's course in the program, data will be collected relating to symptoms, medication usage, outcomes, and emergency room/physician visits.
